Laurel farming for the Guardian Games in Destiny 2 has become a fun way to experiment with different builds. As I learn of great builds and areas to farm, I’ll post them below. I’ll also post the video explanations as I create them.
Mars, Attunement of Flame, and Solar Grenades
For this laurel farming session, I selected Attunement of Flame (bottom-tree solar), Solar Grenade, and Sunbracers. Attunement of Sky adds tracking to your Daybreak projectiles and extends the duration of the super for each kill. Solar Grenade mixed with Sunbracers allows you to drop long-lasting burning grenades that can recharge on melee kills.
I took that build to Mars and kicked off Escalation Protocols in Glacial Drift. I jumped into the air and threw a grenade directly below me, so I would land in the middle of it. Waves of Thrall would throw themselves at me, only to die before they hit me. Most laurels were dropped into my lap. Once the first set of waves were over, and I completed the first green ring part, I simply destroyed to the next waves with my super.
Moon, Attunement of Conduction, and Crown of Tempests
After some helpful comments I received on my Mars laurel farm video, I changed up my build and farm location. I got some great advise to try Attunement of Conduction (top-tree arc) and the Crown of Tempest while farming on the Moon. I did exactly that, and it was fun. I even finished a bunch of other bounties in the process. One major thing that I loved was that I never had to compete with anyone for enemies.
Attunement of Conduction chains your arc damage to nearby enemies, and Crown of Tempest increases the recharge rate of arc abilities and extends the up-time of your super while you kill. This build feeds on enemies, and the more the merrier. I took that build to Sorrow’s Harbor on the Moon, and farmed the waves of enemies that exit the portal in the cave in Lunar Battlegrounds. To get to the cave, zone into Sorrow’s Harbor and head east until you reach a bridge near the southeast part of that area. Follow that into Lunar Battlegrounds and keep to the far left of the large open area until you reach the cave.
